i just watched that video after just staring at the Sister page on the site for an hour.
I think I am going to splurge for the sister (its for ze bass) but i gotta ask that dude if he can break one of those reverb units off as a stand alone piece. that shit is creamy dreams.

I'm starting to wonder if I should get my classic 400 fixed and sell it for a Mother and/or Sister? I feel like high gain amp distortion is the thing that's missing from my tone

Can't splurge on one of these right now, but all the discussion is both making me want one and also making me think I should avoid hopping on the bandwagon.
Maybe if someone ever feels like flipping their Science amp, get in touch with me and I'll see how I feel then

There's a 100w Hellhawk on Reverb, $1200... $400 off the new price... wonder if he's receptive to offers?

Just bit the bullet and ordered a Mother. Super stoked, but I hate waiting. Should sound super badass through my Peavey 3620. Can only highly recommend Alex's customer service as well.

It was 1300. He dropped it. I wish my amps would sell.

Damn. Literally just got my bonus today and was getting my reasons together how I needed to buy the one on reverb. Now I need to plan how bonus becomes down payment on one + some stuff around the house, then we have some time to come up with the rest. (Wasn't quite enough to cover a whole new one, or this would be a real different set of bargaining parameters)

That's awesome man! I heard the turn around times have been pretty good, and apparently Alex is nicer than Jesus when it comes to service.
Been thinking about pulling the trigger on a sister, but worried he'll have it built before I want to give him the rest of everything I have.

Aww yiss. I *finally* got my Mojotone 2x12 wired up and played my Hellhawk through it. It's all I ever dreamed it could be.

I don't know how you managed to wait that long to try That hellhawk. Would have driven me completely crazy.

You have no idea. It was sitting around for most of the year. I have a cab with 25W Greenbacks and G12T-75s that sounds great with my V-4 but Marshall type amps hate it. The Hellhawk lives for G12-65s and Vintage 30s.
