We decided to post a new rehearsal track to promote tonight's gig. Check it out at Bandcamp from the link below. There's also a blog post with some photos from the rehearsal room for those interested.

Pedalwise it's Dark Boost + EHX Enigma + ss/bs/dfas Guuhgh (+ possibly smthg else) on bass and E13 Rocket on guitar

I really like this! If I had an upright bass right now I'd add something for sure, I'd love to play things like that.

A demo I chucked together last night but I couldnt work long on it because I had work in the morning.
It needs a B section but I don't know how to fit it in.

jfrey - that track would be great for a film starring edward norton, love it

Ever hear of G4S? Look that up. And then listen to this.

Also, Baby Thundaa = LOVE

Use headphones with good bass response if you have some.

That was lovely...Very lonely and sad sounding. Gotta get me a synth now too...

How were you getting those glitchy sounds?

Really digging this bass drone track, Kings. The Thunder circuit is killer for low end.

Lonely and sad? JUST LIKE ME! :!!!:

This synth has an FM section with sliders to change parameters and the sliders click between 5 preset spots rather than being fluid. So for those glitchy sounds I hit a note then moved the "spectrum" slider up and down. It's some kind of filter I think, accents certain frequencies depending on the setting.

Here's another video with a less sad feel and more of a NES feel. I already posted this in the gear thread, but whatever.

Yeah, I really like what you've got going on here. You should definitely record some stuff so I can listen to it on my ipod!!

The guitar is the main thing doing the big drone part. That's the feedback loop on the thundaa engaged with a shit ton of reverb thrown on it in garageband.

Thank you for the kind words, sir :)
I currently have no means of recording anything of better quality than that, but I'm planning on working on that.

I love how bassy the feedback on that fucker is. That whole pedal in general. Good stuff.
