found this for a good price locally
2018 Giant

Now I can unload my way to big trek 660 and have a real road bike to mess around on while the trails firm up.

Very nice Morning for a ride!
New Pedals on the Giant, Mountain flats, with these and my FiveTens I feel super locked in but can also move my foot position.
I have a bad neck so if I stay in one position to long I get tingles in my arms and legs so this helps a ton, plus PURPLE!!

It really sucks large, since I’ve posted this I decided to sell my house and have needed my car essentially every single day for all kinds of dumb shit and never get to ride my bike. I keep my bike at the office now and take it out when I can but it’s been a real car heavy summer.

That looks rad! What did you use for paint?

I bought the bike this morning but it rained all day so no pictures yet. It's a somewhat dinged up 2010 Trek 3rd District. I had been planning to get an older US made Cannondale but this came up for $150. I figured it'd be nice to have a newer frame design.

I am going to go through my old San Jose and do a nicer build up of that (It was my year round commuter in Boston for 6+ years so it's pretty beat).

Nice, that Trek is swanky.

Paint is some Tamco cat urethane
color was some Didspade Guillotine pigment over black base then black candy tint over that
Not a fan of how Wolverines ride but I cant be bothered to buy a new frame.

Nice. :thumb:

I have an old Trek 7300 that's still in pretty good shape. Granted, I've replaced just about every component on it over the years. Continues to ride well.

Hope you have fun on your new bike! :!!!:
