i've never been able to really get into Saucony, something about the side panel 3 dots thing just turns me off, dunno.
I hear they're mad comfy though, I really should give em a try

super comfy and I always keep a few pairs of vintage runners around
I had red 70s track flats forever
but the rubber wore out on them cause they were original

It's a decent every day shoe
of course in a month when the weather around here sucks
I won't be wearing much of anything

I've got a pair of saucony paramounts as my "serious" runners, and they rule. Had a great pair of grid Americas years ago that were at home as both runners and street shoes, although lo tops didn't have a lot of cred back in those days.

Sauconys are awesome & very comfy. Another great runner style shoe, Nike Air Pegasus '83.

@goroth: here is the comparision. Right hand side is the typical Dr. Martens steel tap shoe. On the left hand side is the slim cut: thinner sole and all a bit more on the slim side. It is the Dr. Martens Drury Model

You see the slim sole better in the other pic - so shameless repost:

Damn you classy sonufabitch uni.

Saucony's are awesome. Had some shadow 5000 that were the super comfy. And breathable. Mmm... not sweaty feet.

For the same price as Docs! :yay:

I shouldn't have googled those pegasus '89's. Actually I should stop visiting this thread! I don't have any money.

But you're in the pitt. Couldn't you like, go out to the street corner and start giving handies for sneaker money?
