I had to wait 11 days to receive 2 capacitors. Now I have to wait 7(?) more to get the back-ordered pots.
WUT
I'll just buy two more and use the coming ones in the future.

My plan from the start is to slowly build a rig of Avatar cabs. 2x B410 NEO (8ohms each). 2x B410 NEO (4ohms each). I was fully intending to buy new from Avatar (I can save on shipping since the Avatar shop is literally 20 minutes from where I live. Will Call FTW) I've got one of the 4ohms that I've had for a four years but Mecha Shiva really requires a wall of bass to achieve the chest thumping lows that I'm trying to reproduce live. I want it to be purposely overkill on the amount of cabs I'm using and I have the amp to power all 4 cabs,...plus I can use the 4ohm stack (2x 8ohm cabs) for my more straight up R'N'R band. Then this pops up. FUCKITY FUCK FUCK FUCK FUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!
I emailed the seller and made an offer but told him I couldn't move on it until middle of next month. Bills suck,...saving to move into a house sucks too. ARGH.

my mom told me that she wants to get married.
i guess that's not that weird, but my entire life she's told me that marriage is unnecessary, it's weak to depend on other people, and people generally get into relationships because they're too weak to live on their own, etc. so i'm kinda confused/angry that i've got these 'core values' well ingrained (even though i consciously know they're stupid to an extent, stuff like that is hard to shake on a subconscious level) , and now they seem to just be based on the fact that she was single and (apparently somewhat) bitter (for good reasons, though) for most of my upbringing.
really weird watching my mom date someone and actually care about them/the relationship.

got yelled at by a jamaican woman at work today for no reason, had to watch old people eat with their mouth wide open with mayonnaise hanging on their lips, AND got caught staring at a dude who was missing an eye who decided not to wear an eyepatch. all in all, i'd say it's a pretty successful day at work.

What happened to IFC? It's not what it used to be. It never used to have commercials in the middle of movies, and it certainly had more boobs. I love Mr. Show, Freaks and Geeks and Arrested Development, but seriously, BOOBS!!!
The pubescent snipelfritz of 2003-04 has very fond memories of, erm, "discovery" via the uncensored airing of edgy, independent films.
