I think it's a cop out. I have a differing opinion from his on gear and it turns into individuality comes from you,...well yes,...and that bass, and those effects, and that amp, and that cab. Or did I miss a memo or something. I don't know what JimmyM does musically but I think it's Motown covers, so yes a VT Bass is very appropriate for that, but um,...as much as I like Motown and worship James Jamerson, I don't want to be another Motown clone, or another clone of anything. If I find myself in a Classic Rock Cover Band (not likely) then maybe I'll consider saving the $180 for a VT Bass and putting it towards a real tube amp.

Really in the end it was a opportunity for Jimmy to passive aggressively slag me because I have a differing opinion.
