Main gift is on the way, changed my idea last minute because of several reasons but i hope i got it right. Actually i'm really curious to try it myself: I rarely had the chance to put my hands on the pedals from this maker, but a couple of those (including this one) always intrigued me.

The assemblage is nearly complete. Excellent.

musical items acquired, ephemera and packing materials acquired today, so all i have to do is wrap stuff and put everything in a box. this has gone well.

I just pulled the trigger. I wanted to wait because my mark is a slippery mofo who's addiction and flippage runs high. It wouldn't surprise me if he ends up getting his entre wish list before I get this present to him. lulz

Only thing left is the wrapping and the box for the stuff. Somehow it's December already?

OOoooo someone is organised. Got my main gift in today, so only waiting on a couple of things then the little sweeteners and I'm good to go.

everything's packed. all i need to do now is go to the PO, which i'll do tomorrow morning on my way to the office. i didn't quite make my goal of being done by 12/1, but it'll be there in plenty of time.

Apparently someone else Is even more organized: yesterday evening i received a box . (along with a big customs fee, but i guess that's life after Brexit ).
Now let the waiting game start.

@Satan: the box has seen better days, It was definitely NOT handled with care during its trip, but i think everything inside should be ok!

the postal service in Italy can be brutal. i once ordered a CD off Discogs from there. the package disappeared from tracking and so i wrote it off; it arrived in the US 4 months later in a mailer that had been torn open and not resealed. how it ever got to me is a mystery i still can't explain.
