yeah - didn't mean to imply criticism of the DTF - just the opposite - the fact that i like the sound of it better than something so universally lauded...surprised me a bit

Now I'm hungry. :snax:

They went with the Triangle Big Muff...I feel like the Pi would have been more appropriate or perhaps the cheese is the Pi and the Pepperoni is the Triangle? It's silly, but fun-ish. More goofy...but at $200, it's a bit pricey for a joke pedal. I think the fart pedal was $200 too...is $200 the new $99?

That pedal has a custom sheet metal enclosure. You can't pull something like that off for under $200 retail.

Too pricey for me, but that doesn't mean it won't sell.

Aren't most triangle clones in the 200s? they tend to be more often mojo with nos components and stuff

Exactly. what you are paying for here is the fact that it looks like a slice of pizza and is in that enclosure as whoismk mentioned. Stomp Under Foot, for example seems to be the big muff for the big muff nerd and their stuff is always kissing $200, but as you mention, those are to spec with correct time period parts and all that. I mean at the end of the day, you plug it into an amp that is gonna flavor it and in a room whose shape will alter the tone anyway. I mean if you just want a big muff...go to reverb and enter big muff and you'll be overwhelmed by Big Muff's under $100

Rumors of new: https://www.gearnews.com/leak-boss-re-2 ... hC3HuRfcn8

Might be time to flip your RE-20 while it’s still demanding high prices. Roland/Boss can do the echo part very credibly and have for a while. So if they mail the preamp on this one . . .

hmmm...i'll believe it when i see it - there've been mock-ups of something similar floating around for a few years, not to mention those who swing the other way:

This new virtual instrument from Audio Thing/ Hainbach is lovely. I just replaced some basic plucks from an earlier sketch with the factory sounds from Noises, and it immediately turned bright modular sequences into dark ambient scapes / lost 1970s film scores.

There's going to be so many options, when this gets paired with Lotus & Lore over the weekend.

This is exactly the sort of thing I've been hoping they'd release.
...which is precisely why I'm convinced it's a hoax / there's probably just another limited edition tonebender coming.

Doesn't the "A GPX Deviation" label mark it as a wishful mock-up? :idk:

Interested, especially now that I'm virtual-instrumentin' via the guitar now (Generate and Pigments are by far my favorites so far, love them). I liked Wires but it is a huge CPU hog.

Re: Space Echo modeler reissues: for sure - my point was the masses are calling, it remains to be seen if, and how, Boss answers the call - unless there's solid intel on the single stomp add :snax:
