Yeah, I guess dated. More so, just not pushing anything or exploring anything. Just playing music to sell, not to make something.

I disagree. I don't think these guys need the money. I think they explored a great deal and made something special in the end.

Listening more, I appreciate it more then before. Some of it still sounds like corny 70s rock, but some of it is some gnarly stuff. I've been listening to too much minimalism.

Glad it's growing on you! I think some of it sounds dated because of all the 'air'. You know, lot's of open big drum sounds a la Zeppelin, etc..
