The Grumbly Wolf isn't a traditional Green Ringer.

It's more of a distortion pedal w/ a Green Ringer circuit in it. I didn't really like it. Definitely not as "versatile" as a more faithful Ringer clone. :idk:

While that's probably true, Chicago Stompworks builds one that isn't very expensive and sounds great. :D

Could give it a go, I suppose! I assume it's quite a simple circuit?

Is that the BSRI FZZ over on Reverb? (Sorry if I’m out of the loop, can’t remember if BSRI is you.)

Just ordered myself a Behringer Super Fuzz - new with shipping cost less than I see them being hawked on Craigslist lately. One guy wanted like $90!

Got my Behringer Super Fuzz today in the mail - don’t know how it stacks up to an FZ-2 but for $40 new this thing friggin’ RIPS HARD.

I love the orange colour too. I was worried it would be as pale as the box photo but it’s a very nice deep orange and it sounds killer. Very loud and very Wizard-y which is what I want.....

Has anyone tried the (DEAD) fx Superfuzz? It seems quite interesting.

Looks cool control-wise but not a fan of those tiny pots.

It depends how often I expect to adjust the settings and whether it's something that needs to be quite precise. But yes, they can be pretty irritating, particularly if you can't see how they're set.

Yeah that's true if I didn't need to adjust them much it's ok. But I don't know that till I get the pedal, and I don't need a pedal to be that small. So it's negative points for sure though if you're tight on board space then it's probably :excellent:

I've pulled the trigger on an Idiotbox Dungeon Master, looking forward to get it!
