mostly modeled in 3d, drawn on top and then shopped untill it didn't look like 3d anymore.

What did you use to model the 3D? I assume you use a tablet as well.

I use Max since it's the one I'm any good at (I use it for work too)
and yeah. Intuos2 tablet at work, cheap Bamboo tablet at home

The Bamboo is a great tablet for the price. Ever try the Corel Painter program that comes with it?

yeah the bamboo is pretty good! it doesn't have pen inclination sensitivity or other advanced stuff but I don't use any of that anyway.
