Well that sucked. 3/3 failures to purchase a Stretch Weaver. This time I actually managed to get one in my cart but got unknown errors while going through the checkout. It literally just said "billing info" no matter what fields I filled out until it eventually just told me there weren't any left.

Any thoughts of just doing a waitlist similar to the Demedash T-120? I would 100% prefer to wait on a year long list than deal with this shit every time a batch is released.

+1 for this idea. Although I imagine its extra work to try and keep track of who next etc but it is nice to not have to worry about trying to be fast enough or having site errors when trying to buy a pedal.

Drolo...when will you be implementing a virtual waiting room system (like Ticketmaster) so we can watch a dial spin while our dreams are crushed from the dreaded “sorry there is a problem with your cart. There is not enough stock” message that is the ultimate light at the end of our tunnel of waiting?

From what I remember how it felt when I used to have a mac, not sure the spinning wheel is the most feng shui solution :)
I'm sorry that the way these sales work at the moment is frustrating, I get it. I have tried the waiting list thing for a while and when it grew 2 years long I just decided it was getting a bit ridiculous. I'd love to find a more ideal solution but this is the best middle ground I could find for now, some people get frustrated, I get a bit frustrated from the frustrated messages, but after that life goes on.
In any case I'm really honored that people are interested enough in my thingies to get upset about it

Sorry to be one of the frustrated customers submitting frustrating complaints. It just sucks getting so close only to fail again due to technical issues. It also really sucks seeing all of the Stretch Weavers that pop up on the used market go for about $200 to $300 more than new ones. Oh well maybe I can get in on the next batch

I agree that it is painful to know that someone beat ya to the punch and that person is just looking to make some money and won't enjoy the pedal like you would, but at the end of the day, it's just guitar pedals. No one deserves it anymore than anyone else and I don't think it is fair to expect the creator to do anything more than make em and put them up for sale. Waitlists suck and don't solve the problem and it would be silly for any builder to keep track of who flips what. It is what it is, the nature of the game...

I feel fortunate to have what I have and to have tried what I've tried. I look forward to the opportunity to get my hands on a stretch weaver, but my wallet is glad I got shut out yesterday.

Question for Drolo and other folks who may have ordered something in the last onsale? Anyone else waiting on the impossibly slow and no updating international shipping? Looks like my pedal finally left belgium on March 30th but thats the last update. Usps had the tracking number as a pre-shipment in their online tracking but seems it never got picked up. Is it possibly on a boat or something? Fingers crossed it shows. I know some molecules that can use some disrupting.

Hey there, international shipping has unfortunately ground to a halt at the moment, nothing is moving, or very sporadically. I hope they will start moving soon, sorry for the long wait

No reason to apologize for global crisis. I feel thankful that my tracking shows that after a while, it did eventually leave Belgium. It hasn't been THAT long since then.

At least I'll know the pedal won't need disinfecting when it arrives...that package though. Been around the world...

Here’s my ask Drolo for today: Are there more useful DSP effects/algorithms waiting to be discovered/invented which are not related to existing effects types? It seems like DSP has a unique strength in time based effects like reverb and delay, given that it can record and play back sound over time.

But I mostly see modulation on the delayed sound, shortening/stretching the sound, or randomly sampling the array (glitch type effects) so I’m wondering if there’s more possible.

Searching for that new sound.
If you can read this, then I'm back? :?:
