"Recently Refinished/Restored at Senator Guitar in Spokane, WA, this Flying V Bass is in like new condition. I took it to a local guitar guru here in town, before I had it restored, and he said that it was similar to the Ibanez copies that were named the Lawsuit Series, but more than likely was a copy of that as well, from Korea. I wish I had before and after pictures, because this thing had a giant mess of a paint job, with crappy flame decals stuck on, and now it's beautiful. Nice body covering wood pickguard, and cool new black paint job. The neck is awesome, and plays like butter. It's pretty rare when you come across a Flying V bass, no matter the make or model. Great guitar.
If you are curious why the shipping is what it is consider the following:
- I double box, use bubble wrap, peanuts and lots of cellophane and tape
- A box to ship from UPS is $27, before tax. I will be using two
- Peanuts and bubble wrap are around $15
- Shipping dimensions have increased with any shipping method. I will most likely be using UPS
- Shipping charges before these costs are $50 - So I am eating some of the shipping costs in the price of the guitar.
- I am very honest about what it costs. Should it come beneath the price quoted for shipping, I will partially refund the leftover
I offer local pickup, or we can negotiate on how you would like it shipped, and arrange for the shipping, after sale, on your own.
Please allow up to 8 hours response time for answers to questions/offers."
