I have a weird relationship with flangers. I seem to swing quickly between thinking it sounds awesome to really glad that I turned the effect off. Currently having this tumult with my OBNE flanger. I can't decide if I love it a lot or don't like it at all.

I've had flangers that still hurt my ears. The Spectre was a big culprit of that. I tried it twice and it just killed me. It's similar to the sound of a ring mod. Make me want to howl like a caged animal.
