First Brexit, then Trump, now this. The fuck is going on with reality nowadays? A fully functioning human being could not have been behind this.

It's in the most recent issue of Distortion LTD.

Actually, it's not there anymore. Looks like it was replaced by an ad for SolidGoldFX.

I do read every issue of Distortion LTD. Yeah, I realize it's 90% ads and everything that's not an ad is still an ad. But when one of their articles a few months back was like, how to build a MIAB, they led with something like "we all know who you think about when someone starts talking about the Marshall sound - it's Ian MacKaye and Guy Picciotto!" And recently they namedropped Nomeansno and like, who does that? I'm not saying this is a path to riches for them, but it may just be a path to glory.

That's a path to glory for sure.

More like a path to gloriously commercially exploit people who've spent their lives being against commercial exploitation? :idk:

I'd never heard of Distortion LTD until this thread...

I don't see how a niche magazine can even exist in 2018

edit:
Distortion Ltd. is dedicated to smashing pretension and preconceived notions about what gear mags can and should be, by delivering the kind of top-shelf content that gear connoisseurs deserve.
Okay.

Distortion ltd is basically the Tone Report from PGS. When Reverb bought out PGS, some of those dudes went on to create Distortion, as far as I understand it.

About the recent push to litigate "stealing trade secrets..." there is an interesting article in
The New Yorker about driverless cars and why Google sued Uber.

This bums me out. I can't imagine what could be gained by this suit. It won't bring Nick back. It won't make the company easy to run without Nick. It will, however, create a lot of bad blood in a very tight community and drain all available resources that would be better spent on new designs and pushing the brand forward.
