Yea, it really can be. With mild settings it sounds a lot more "normal".

Ah yea, time for the Electronic Audio Experiments - Sending (analog delay). One of the nicest delays I've had, no doubt. Lots of handy features too. The preamp is extra interesting.

Thanks! It really is a beautiful delay. I know there's tons of them out there but this one stands out to me. It's not super complicated and just sounds "good", straight up. Now I just have to play the waiting game for a while until I get a production model.

haha, well I'm glad you liked it. I hope everything works out for them with this first batch because it would be nice to see more of these out in the wild.

It would! Its getting me torn because Im loving my El Cap which Id have to sell to get it, I love the modulation on it so much, but FUUUUUUUU the tone of sending, especially with a little grit from the preamp

Yup, I want that preamp in a pedal. There should be another demo out tomorrow that will focus more on guitar (as opposed to the synth-heavy vibe of my video). Well, hopefully it does really well with the pre orders and we see another batch pop up.

Re: aBunchOfPedals - SolidGoldFX Counter Current Dirty Rever

Post by affectperdals »

Here's a decently priced lofi (dirty) reverb. There's an expression pedal control for the Drive knob, which can be kinda cool. The best part is the swell switch... It can be mellow or it can be upsetting, lol. This is like the polite version of the Beholder.

That things would be killer on stuff like dirty pads and percussion, or like, triggering that feedback on snare hits. Would've been nice in stereo, tho.

Yo, everything would be better in stereo! haha. It does sound cool on drums for sure. Actually as time goes on, I realize how cool a lot of pedals are on drums.

I guess you could just record two takes for the stereo ;)

Yea, no doubt! It still doesn't compare to playing through 2 amps. I miss my double blues jr setup...

Oh, I'm thinking for mixing purposes. It seems like a fairly unique effect, at least to my knowledge.
