The true ghost of Witt is that we'll never know... but every new troll or dufus will be suspect.
As for pgs and Andy I never thought the vids were that dynamic or interesting, but they were at least thorough enough, and twice or thrice helped me decide yeah or nay on a pedal I was eyeing. They got the job done of showing you what a pedal did.

Also, what would Prymaxe body spray smell like? Savings?
Point well made!
Disregarding Coxon riffs while playing QOTSA and Foo Fighters songs would be grounds for stoning imo

All the Reverb vids seem to be pretty trad rock heavy, QOTSA probably being the most interesting turf they cover. A little Coxon in there would be super good. Oh and he also plays Prince

No other retailer has ever been so cool with me giving discounts to stuff usually "excluded" from sales as well as fast free shipping and amazingly quick responses to emails. I love Prymaxe and use them first when I am buying new. In fact, I just got a morley power fuzz wah from them at discount (Morley is usually excluded from sales) and they sent me the upgraded chrome version which is $80 more than the regular one. So I got a $225 pedal for $130 shipped free. I got a green russian EH the day they came out from Prymaxe again with a 20 percent discount and free shipping. Prymaxe rules!

Seriously, how many alts does Witt have?

At the moment, I would say the evidence seems to indicate it's Manny, not Witt.
As for PGS, I never bought from them, but they had a great reputation. Andy is a great player, and he played some cool music, but he also mixed in a lot of cornball crap, too. So I'm ambivalent about Andy, but I feel it's unfortunate a good shop is going under. The last time I ordered a pedal from a retailer, I got jerked around. Not all music gear shops are created equal.

Just realized I was actually a customer for PGS back when the Carcosa was an exclusive. I don't buy a lot of stuff new or at full price, but that was worth it. It reflected well that they understood how cool that pedal is and wanted it to themselves.

I never bought anything from PGS, as by the time I had the money to spend on brand new pedals, they'd moved away from carrying anything I dig (plus all the overdrive/fuzz demos started running together), but I will credit them for making some of the first good demos of Mid-fi in their early days and definitely stoking that fire for me.

Raptor vs Witt’s alt. A movie I’d watch!
I do agree with a lot of points in this thread, Goroth’s, Willy’s, popvulure’s... I do want to say that from this side of the Atlantic Ocean a pedal video like Andy’s is invaluable. A lot of stuff we pretty much have to buy blindly and import ourselves, with high shipping costs and 20% vat + import fees that we will never see again if we flip.
PGS had excellent customer service and both me and my bandmate were happy customers there, especially during those difficult times when the cool European pedal stores went belly up (they do cycle every 2-3 years with 1 year without one between Belgium, France and Germany... we do have the Danish fuzz monster though but danish crown conversion isn’t always practical / favorable to us).
Glad that Andy will go on making demo vids that we do find useful to get the gist of a pedal, something he’s really good at.

Disagree. PGS ships UPS ground and pedals take more than a week to get to the east coast. Prymaxe ships USPS priority and CA buyers probably get their packages in two days.

I just ordered something from PGS like a week before they shut down and they sent is USPS priority.
