neunaber wet
Ditto. That, and the Neunaber Shimmer algo with shimmer turned all the way down. It's like Wet but a touch thicker.Mudfuzz wrote:neunaber wet
Ok Fuck this; RV-3 is the shit, Looking to pick up an RV-2 sometime to see if it's any sickerqersty wrote:I haven't owned alot of reverbs as I always feel they are not what I want or a bigbox super expensive overkill deal. I like the bitquest reverb alot, especially the dirty setting it's so lush and gross and just nice and the infinite setting is amazing too. I like my hardwire too but I am not really in love with it, like it replicates high quality reverbs very well but I feel like thats not what I'm after and even though they are cool the gate and reverse modes get boring, the reverse especially since it hasn't got any dry signal. I use it for spring reverb now because I have been really into Lee Perry and space echos recently but I still prefer real life springs since you can kick 'em but my combo amp is direly in need of new tubes and I only use it at home.
That's pretty much all the verbs I have used (well the polara too but its the same as my hardwire except without the sick industrial gate mode and crappy shimmer instead)
I have the same feeling with the RRR.coldbrightsunlight wrote:I've not tried a million. The Dr Scientist RRR was my favourite for a long time, it's very simple and just sounds nice
I haven't used either of those, but my favourite is RV-5's modulated reverb. &, honestly, the Digitech Digiverb gated reverb is really fantastic. Not just "for its price". It's just great.qersty wrote:Ok Fuck this; RV-3 is the shit, Looking to pick up an RV-2 sometime to see if it's any sickerqersty wrote:I haven't owned alot of reverbs as I always feel they are not what I want or a bigbox super expensive overkill deal. Isnt that based of the accutronics brick thats in alot of pedals and diy projects? there may be some filtering but its probably not a very engineered pedal [prejudices]voerking wrote:this is as good a place as any to ask this: are there any reverb pedals that sound similar to the DBA Reverberation Machine on the dark setting (not cranked up to overdrive the signal), but don't mess with the dry signal?
I really like the sound of the DBA, but the high end roll off/ bass boost on the dry is kind of a bummer.
I have listened to some demos of the 2 and it is more "extreme" than the 3 like its more hugeass rack style reverbs and not very realistic since its old and tech didnt sound like a plate. It is also more low res and you can hear artifacts from the converters. Never played a digiverb but considering one between two hardwires cause the reverse had dry. The hardwire is well worth the money it goes for thoughVREEEEVROOOOOW wrote:I haven't used either of those, but my favourite is RV-5's modulated reverb. &, honestly, the Digitech Digiverb gated reverb is really fantastic.
