Basically, I saw tons of people running around claiming DOD was selling broken pedals and such solely because they had no fucking clue what they were buying and then they made sure to let everyone interested know their baseless opinions.

Saw is not heard, so it wouldn't be slander. Libel is defamation, so unless DOD sued it's not libel.

I guess it's just that I was using a specific definition ("a published false statement that is damaging to a person's reputation; a written defamation.") that was a bit stronger than what I intended to convey.

I can't think of a word that's stronger than just saying "lying because they're fucking idiots" but not as strong as "libel/slander."

I don't know much about JHS other then a few sociopathic rants from she who will not be named and what i read on the boards. never tried their stuff. aesthetically i find it boring. what i am curious about is their growth spurt and how the connection with BOSS was made? how was that initiated? how does a company that's known for ripping off others work become so huge and essentially leapfrog over other builders to that "next level?"
