- Companies that that pretty much exclusively make clones and -even worse- amp-in-a-box type pedals, but aren't honest about the fact that there's no such thing as an 'amp-in-a-box'.
- Too much jebus and/or politics references on their websites and in their pedal's graphics.
- Klon/dumble references in a sales pitch.
- Builders that are too cool to bother making any half decent clips, relying on mistique and hype created on ilf.
- Builders that act like douches on ilf.

Basically I was looking for a career change that got me out of dealing with professional musicians, union stagehands and the general bullshit and corruption so endemic in those fields, and really any field that is not based on nature. I got a job at a local garden as an intern and from there I grew it into a business and teaching career that keeps me very happy. I highly suggest you get into it, especially if you're looking for a little peace and meaning in your life. If you have any specific questions, I am always happy to help you via private message.

However, I actively avoid products from Gojira, JHS, Farndurk, Vemuram, T1M and whichever forgettable company is responsible for the "Big Bloom" clone of Shin's Dumbloid [fancy TS]
