Uncles didn't have any crazy ideas -- basically rotary cutter on a dremel or coping/jeweler's saw then file. Also: There was no hat.

Gonna strong-arm the CNC guy tomorrow...he owes me a favor.

Look the fuck out, SLM. I'm coming for you.

(By which I mean I will leverage the exptertise of others and then fail to execute my own small part and probably ask you for help.)
Not if I fuck up and need your help first! (very possible)

Rah rah my board came in last week. It is super dope, and it's capable of weirdness only limited by my underdeveloped imagination.

Welder is finishing things up...now all that's left are 1) coding something worth having on a board, and 2) sorting out switches, LEDs, stomps, and knobs.

I'm lagging blah blah blah life.

Made some small progress testing a method for art/labeling (I can't hang with IM's "none more black" philosophy haha) and have an idea how I am going to solve the issue of planning more controls than there are pins available, but yeah. It will happen.

It's sorted in theory, but I haven't ordered the chips I need. I wonder if Adafruit or Sparkfun would trade me parts for a Boneshaker... :erm:

Hmmm good idea. Work on trades so you're ready for the imminent barter economy.

Not too shabby! I printed the layout on a clear acetate and spray-glued it in place as a guide. I might refine it a little bit, it fits nicely now and history shows that trying to make things perfect tends to end in disaster so it's better left alone. :)*
