I am not equipped to do do anything with the code nor do I understand it but just want to say "Thank you!" for going through the time and effort to write up and share

.
Also, have to say, your pedals sound great! Ugly Casanova has done them great justice in his demo videos.

Thanks!
I'll try give them a spin (pun intended) tomorrow. If you own a BitQuest or similar SPIN based pedal that has the EEPROM in a 8-DIP socket you could swap in a chip with your own programs. Like discussed in this thread:

Might have been mentioned already, but the super ugly Source Audio Soundblox2 Multiwave Distortion does folding distortion:

I was looking into getting that pedal and the filter early in 2017 but then I got weird and got a Dream Sequence instead. I think the source audio stuff is rad (the hand wands are sick).

It's also in the Kingmaker/LA Lady/etc (all the gain pedals have the same algos available, all you're buying is the color!) if you don't want the ugly and want more options, as I mentioned earlier!

For those interested. The algorithms posted work as is, but the Fold and Wrap distortions would benefit from being applied several times to the signal in series.

That's great and all, but
WHEN THE FUCK ARE THEY GONNA RELEASE THEIR COMB FILTER?!?!
Also, can it do like, just the wavefolding without the octave stuff?
Because if so, I might just have to look at buying one.

One of the knobs just says "Down", while the one next to it says "Sat|WF", so I'm assuming they're independent to some degree, at least.

Man, that pedal sounds like a fucking phaser in a way. Killer.

I wonder why no one has done a PLLone with built in wavefolding.

Pll is squarewave generally. Wavefolding on square and saw isn't anything really. You would most likely have to waveshaper the square to sine, which is another step. I think there are some amplitude problems and other issues (don't know if any method is ideal which is why it is usually easier to start with triangle). Would probably be easier to hard sync a triangle core and then fold that...but then lag.
Changing a square to saw and then doing a supersaw phase copy thing might be cool though.
Having a slow gear like vca before the folding could also be cool...more amplitude, more folding. Just an envelope follower could be cool too. (Or lightning wave's setup

one shot envelopes and drawable modulation)
I think am in general is a better pairing with folding.
The pedal seems nice. The blend between sat/wf is a good idea because the guitar gets too harmonically complex sometimes during folding and it would be good to dial back in the note. Sneak attack + downer should be a pretty good combo.
