There is a guitar shop that has a ton of old DOD pedals, some that are great deals and some that are WTF? They also have an old Ibanez Talman that looks exactly like the one Explosions in the Sky uses (the blue sunburst looking one), for $250. I have wanted to buy the Corrosion pedal, or get a couple chorus pedals and mod them. Maybe one day

.
Here is a fun site for DOD information and reference:

I don't think so. I own a thrash master and it would have to be one hell of a mod!

Just snagged an Octoplus off ebay for $20.
Looking forward to trying it out. Only other one I've ever used was the FX25 filter, which I liked, but not as much as a lot of people seem to love it.

I found out that

uses/d it and so I went looking for it on ebay. Within a a short space of time I found one for sale and by chance happened to be the only person that bidded on it. Total including p&p came to around £50 (U.K).
It's a cool pedal. It does the standard delay type stuff, but on certain setting it modulates the tail end/off repeat of the delay.

I saw the sonic youth live recently and

was playing his guitar with a violin bow and using the dod pds1002 to sample the sound as a drone. It was an astounding sound.

I've got a Meatbox which is SUPER sick with synth. And a FX-17. Both are really cool! I wanna get a DOD compressor (milkbox), chorus, and analog delay.

Finally got my FX35 today. I'm really liking it so far. It sounds very similar to my Boss OC-2. My favorite part is definitely the tone knob which is so much more useful than the 2nd octave down on the OC-2. Has anyone come up with a solution for the battery door problems these pedals have (always breaking or disappearing)? Mine came with out one. I know I can just tape it but I was wondering if anyone knew of a more... 'elegant' solution.

Haha, oooohhhhh, I see... Yeah, I understand that...
Well, IDK what material you have on you, but maybe you can take the bottom plate off, slip in a rectangle of aluminum or wood or anything else that you can cut to fit over the hole n place (you may have to glue it in) and then put the bottom plate back on... Of course, this is only for if you don't want to use batteries...
The good thing about that i you have an easy way to mount switches if you want to modify the pedal.

Good call. Right before I read your post, I found this

The idea about adding switches for mods is good too. Maybe I could add a standard barrel style power jack
