A little more utility-ish this year.
Shure sm7b
Decent case for my amp head
Non-crap headphones
Pedalwise:
Iron Ether Xero Dlx (new one looks sick)
Top mount comp - thinking the Seymour Duncan Vise thinger
Wanna get Turnip farm to make a trumpety fuzz. Like that one from that shitty brand that that guy designed. I've written it down somewhere.
SSBS Hawk. Because I've always wanted one.
Maybe a muff or a rat, or some other classic circuit. Never really muffed or ratted. Or tonebent. list goes on.

Pharaoh. Trust me.
My goals:
In general I want to spend a bit less on gear than I have this year and fund it by selling some pedals. Fewer more carefully considered purchases.
-sell some pedals, be less of a hoarder
-a bit of recording gear (interface/hardware recorder, mics)
-replace current cab
-drum machine (starting with a volca beats I think)
-mixer for tabletop synth fun
-build a stand for synths, mixer, pedals
-maybe a new bass

Very few/if any pedals on my 2017 acquisition list so far:
- Shure SM7B
- Some kind of new interface
- Any Obstructures guitar
- Make a bass vi out of a Bronco bass
- Verellen Kalaloch
- Moar cabs
Really I think the biggest thing isn't as much about gear, 2016 was about acquiring, 2017 is more about putting it to use by actually playing more shows.

record 1 song every quarter.
Alright, if you're going to be like that:
1) Finish my band's album/EP/thing.
2) Get fucking gigs.
3) Write and release a solo death-grind project by 31 December 2017. It will be 33 minutes of broootz.
THERE! This is as much for myself as anything. I've wanted to do the grind project for ages but just haven't put in the time to write the songs. That shall be remedied.

1) Keep writing the 3/4 song release I've been working on really slowly. Try be done by May I guess. The other person in the project is touring until then anyway
2) All the while cull gear that isn't getting used.
3) Stop getting carried away with looking at and buying and selling gear, and actually use the goddamn stuff
4) Record 2 basic soundscape or melodic ideas per week
5) Get better organised and save money towards my Boardweevil2012 mod project. I've completely lost track of what parts i've bought and what I still need. Speaking of which who knows a good custom metal enclosure building service that won't break the bank?
6) Go to more gigs

My list is simple I feel like
Gear Goals
1) Sell my EGC and Buy an RD standard. Although its a big difference and most will tell me the quality jump is a lot but the RD has been the only guitar I think about since it was stolen and it might be rose colored lenses but I've thought about those guitars for too long. The EGC is great but the neck is too thick for my tastes.
2) Finish all my DIY builds, which is just a Serge panel, and a couple PCB's that I might put into 4U or 5U.
3) Sell my amps, my head, and get a Science cab/head combo.
4)Sell more, buy less. I have already sold more than half of what I own. I only want the essentials.
Life Goals related to music
1) Play more shows
2) Finally learn some music theory so I know why thing sound a certain way
3) Increase my knowledge of DIY even further
4) Record all the things and shit

I just want to get back into writing and making music. 2016 was a barren wasteland of self-loathing.

1- Get a second rackmount preamp
2- Get the 10+ pedals I have on order and use that first before making more purchases
3- Try to stay away from buying another badd
4- Maybe cab replacements
5- Bigger third board...

I'll add music "life" goals as well:
-Record at least one solo album. I was supposed to do it in October, but it got postponed.
-Get the doom band back on track. Currently writing new songs and booking shows. New album is also in the works.
-play more solo shows.
-play with new people, and play more with people I've only played with once or twice.
-make more noise.
-go to more shows. Fight the sofa!
-Get better at recording.

In this order of priority:
Boss ES-5
midibox for Chase Bliss pedals
new pedalboard (a friend is building it for me)
Earthquaker Afterneath
Chase Bliss Gravitas
dB 4E
I kinda want a Chase Bliss Spectre now that they've been updated
I'm softly in the market for something to replace the Line 6 DL4 as my third delay

Saw a couple of SM7s on these lists... very worthy purchase!
Make sure you have a pre with a lot of gain though. Those fuckers need it

For me the general idea is to keep things quiet like this year and the previous one, for the sake of savings and building security for when I'm out of school.
I've recently found the second amp I want (something low maintenance, sounds great clean, handles the VI, maybe stereo ins, light and small so I can carry it around quick), and it's gonna be a JC-40. I'm in the process of downsizing stuff, mostly old cables and DIs and maybe my old monitors... All stuff from back when I contributed to gearing up a rehearsal space that will help pay for that.
I'm gonna probably flip one or two less used pedals to expand a little. The list of stuff I want, for now, looks like that. Will have to be funded by the flips and maybe my birthday gift. Need to keep frugal. And the rest will wait for next year.
MASF Possessed
MASF Raptio (should replace the freeze on my board, so might probably flip that as well)
Ezhi&Aka Moomindrone
Dr. Scientist BitQuest
Bananana Effects Growl 567
This list might evolve depending on what satan (well Vidret) has gotten me. Obviously might have to take into account possible redundancies, though I guess what he got me isn't a pedal.
There's still a couple of things I need to do around the guitars as well. Selling or keeping my Les Paul comes back to mind constantly. I love it but don't play it that much. I'd like to polish a few details like finding good looking knobs for Squier JMJM, fix the battery clip thing that I broke in my J-200... Really long term (beyond 2017 I guess), I'm thinking maybe a cheap telecaster that I could keep around for downtuned and open tunings playing, with bigger strings so it still sounds cool. Also, if Squier ever releases a VM XII, I'll jump on it.
That's about it for now.
