I've been talking to Matt (previously of Electromagnetic Witchcraft, now part of Adventure Audio) about it for about a year now, and dude has some really interesting ideas. Seems like Adventure might move more in this direction from now on, i.e. more innovative pedals and experimental noise. I've seen some clips of this crazy modulated ring mod as well.
