my favorite socks are nike dri-fit. in part because i'm basically always sweating and they wick some of my nasty away. plus i walk the dog a lot and play basketball so the dri-fit is the jam. i generally wear ankle length because i prefer the look of no show but when i'm playing basketball i want my socks to cover anywhere the show may touch/rub so no-show doesn't work. i don't really like longer socks but have a few pairs. also dri-fit.

but when i'm playing with pedals i always wear shoes. i don't like stomp switches on my bare feet. fuck that. i keep cheap pairs of slip-ons for just the occasion with my gear. like 10$ pairs of h&m shitty beach slip ons are fine. it's like having a piece of cardboard attached to your canvas sock but it's far more convenient for me.

i also like house shows when i'm in the house. we keep it chilly at all times of year so it's nice to keep them feet warm.

I'd wear these.

Are these old-fashioned tube socks? I couldn't find any pictures of the toe or heel.
