The Longsword is kind of in the DOD250/Dist+/OCD lineage, but it's also somewhat in the lineage of old solid state amps as well! Not as tight and snarly as a rat - it has a somewhat loose feel.
Also, big news guys - the store is going live tomorrow at 12PM eastern standard time! Longsword, Model feTs, and µ Blasters will all be for sale, with the first 15 sales of each shipping before Christmas. Let me know if you have any questions!

Ouch, I want a pedal, but I've got no money.

Don't worry! Unlike before, we're not going to close the store as soon as we sell a limited quantity. I've been obsessively working to get everything streamlined, which is the main reason why we're doing this soft relaunch. Batches are bigger, things move faster, everyone's happier.

Ordered a Model feT this morning! Can't wait. Squarespace's shipping calculation is whack, but I couldn't resist.

John, this's from your website:
(Note: all Longswords starting in November 2017 no longer have the range toggle but are otherwise the same.)
I think you mean to type "2016".

Rates are as follows:
US - $10
Canada - $35
Everywhere else - $50
USPS Priority Mail International isn't cheap unfortunately.

Nice catch sir!

Yeah, it's just usually my territory is listed under the US State selection (a la Guam) and I don't pay the USPS Priority Mail International fee (since I'm not International). I understand it's probably not your doing and just how Squarespace is set up, though. Since I'm in a US Territory, we go by the standard USPS Priority Mail $10 shipping cost when ordering via Big Cartel or Shopify (for example) and when sending Priority Mail boxes to the Continental US.

Ok, the mistake is DEFINITELY on my end. I think you're the first person from a US territory to order from me and I didn't properly account for that. Please send me an email when you get a chance, and I'll make sure you're not overpaying!

Model feT is ordered too.
I though there was a mistake on the shipping fee too as I generally pay around 15$ which include a tracking when I purchase stuff fron ILF builder in the USA (I'm in Canada).
But that might be due to your location.
I really want this one and I can't wait to try it with my setup.

Now that's some top class service. Glad to be taken care of so quickly! Thank you, sir!

Hope you've all been well. I'm building like a crazy person over here. We had so much demand for Model feTs that I had to shut down orders to catch up. The first several have shipped out by this point, with more to follow. The Longsword will be in a similar boat soon so if you want one, now's a good time to order.
Cheers!

Hey yeah, I recognize the username! It's funny, I think that from being more active on tumblr I picked up a bunch of followers and mutuals who I'd later encounter on ILF.
Another new thing y'all may or may not have seen - I collaborated with Caroline Guitar Co on their new fuzz. I'm really happy with how it came out. Here's a video:

think you'll start branching out of the distortion/od/fuzz more -- saw that prototype that jwar got for secret santa -- seems like a unique take/variation on a theme from darrell's (i think, right?) holy grail with fuzz... i know you ended up modding one yourself, right? or am i blurring things together?

Yes, I have lots of plans for that, but it's slow-going. My problem is that I don't want to do a standard PT2399 delay or a standard Belton Brick reverb, which itself is just made of multiple PT2399s. They've been done to death and I don't think I could ever design something that surpassed the Caroline Kilobyte and Météore, which imo are the best examples of both types. And if I can't do something that isn't at least comparable to them, I'm not gonna do it. I haven't had any luck on that front so no PT2399 stuff for me. I've considered doing a BBD design but given the price of chips it's expensive R&D. I do intend to research the Xvive stuff though!
More importantly I've been hemming and hawing about DSP for a while, and my biggest hurdle is simply time. Between school and building existing designs I'm swamped. BUT. I do have a few algorithms on deck and I'm just trying to figure out a nice hardware platform that isn't a standard FV-1 base. I have at least one original reverb idea on the table and I seriously want to make it happen.
Re: jwar's prototype, that's somewhat inspired by darrell's holy grail but I built it up from scratch with a belton brick reverb circuit and a different fuzz. The only way I could be happy using a brick was if I totally destroyed it, haha. It took a LOT of tuning before I was happy with the final result. I do intend to release that next year, hopefully.
