There where another guy playing keyboard and stuff.
Anybody know who it is?
I'm 90% sure he's the guy who played piano for Little Annie when I saw them on the tour cycle before last. Philly was also Thorless

Have known Swans for a few years now and recently formed a band with them as our biggest inspiration (among others, like Metz, Barkmarket, Grinderman, etc.). First time I heard Swans, was at a friends party, who put on The Seer.. Later that night (around 3 am) when I was at home took another listen and i can tell you guys; the impact while drunk... Sheez, never came close to such a "listeners impact" since then.

Also recently I've been learning for my drivers license and my girlfriend brought The Glowing Man home the other day on vinyl, so I put it on and that constant tension buildup/ slowdown on Cloud of Unknowing..

Unfortunately, never seen them live, but later this year they'll play in Eindhoven and Utrecht here in the Netherlands, so I'll probably check them 'm (twice) then.

They were solid last night. Heavy. I was tired because I walked three miles up to the venue, and they didn't start until like midnight. Was enjoyable, though.

Lot of love for Pravdica, this might interest you all. He did this way before Swans, was on keys mostly but oh boy was it good. You can just see the drugs pouring out of their guitarists eyes.

Nope, Utrecht. Eindhoven is the first date they're gonna play here of the 2, so that's why i listed it first.

Nevertheless, Eindhoven indeed is a nice city. Not as nice as Utrecht (or the countryside of The Netherlands, where I grew up), but still, there are worse cities to live/ be in in The Netherlands than Eindhoven..

Thor is the current drummer for Amanda Palmer, which is why he isn't with swans. :idk:

That is indeed a bit like sous cheffing for Batali then switching over to breadstick overlord at Olive Garden.

Side note--he lives here and plays occasionally as Thor and Friends, a title I find quite heart-warmingly amusing.
