I'm not sure I like Pantera enough to like Power Trip.

I dig the new Power Trip. I love how it's soaked in reverb. Sounds like an old Kreator record, but faster, heavier, punker, reverbier.

THEIR GUITARIST IS NAMED BLAKE IBANEZ I AM GOING TO DIE FROM AN IRONY DEFICIENCY

(one presumes messrs. Randall, Krank, and Metal Zone were sadly otherwise engaged during the recording)

(also I know that's not irony but I don't particularly care)

Me and my buddy Jonathan from Spelljammer (good fun stoner dudes) have been jamming lots of Nekromantheon. Great music for smashing beer.
DoS: Just start enjoying Power Trip. There is not an iota of originality in what they do but it gets your head nodding.

I gave it a listen the other day while walking the dog. Was definitely on board.
