I didn't think so but I didn't buy one either (didn't need what it offered).
I'm happy with the Dimension fakery or JC fakery in my GT-001.

My POD has a DC-2 emulation, but to be honest the stereo image and LFO rate don't sound the same to me as stereo recordings I've heard of the DC-2. Stands to reason that Boss's desktop amp/effect unit does a better job though.

POD is also a lot older tech.

This has been my experience, at least: the more I get into the weirder parts of pedal building, the more I appreciate Boss.
Oh, totally! I in no way meant to slander the name of Boss
in general. Honestly I have a shelf of fuzz pedals that my FZ-2 made redundant, or if not redundant, at least unnecessary. I just think they're taking us for a ride with all the Waza stuff.

The amp is stupid......but a reissue of the fz2 is a great idea

They should honestly rerelease everything.
Dimension C, Heavy Metal, Hyper Fuzz, Hyper Metal, Slow Gear, Octave, Super Distortion & Feedbacker, open the floodgates.
Destroy the resale value of the originals

Dude yes! New slow gear.
Fuck this resale situation is out of hand. They need to do it to restore reality to the used gear market.

Exactly. The Slow Gear was recently listed in Tone Report as one of the most overpriced pedals, based on the fact that the "value" (around $800 USD) to utility ratio is absurd. Mooer makes a clone of it and that still hasn't dented that price. The fact that you can actually go buy a fucking volume pedal, still hasn't lowered that price. But if Boss actually reissued it... I mean, you'd still have shoes lawyers telling you that only the original has the "mojo," but at least for sane people, they'd have an affordable, $150 option. And it would probably track better, too.
Dimension C is nuts, too. It's like... I get that it's a great chorus pedal and all, but... for fuck's sake, $400? Really? You're more than half of the way to a goddam H9 Max or a Mobius. It's just so needless.
At least the ones I gravitate towards are still relatively cheap... thinking of picking up a second FZ-2 so I can leave one in Gain Boost all the time...

I can't be the only person who thinks of this whenever Waza enters the conversation.

Behringer too. I think that's partly why- it's Mooer and Behringer.

I mean, my behringer dimension c clone and 3 knob analog delay leave little to be desired for $20 each.
