:) Well that's kinda why I asked the question in the first place... but I was wondering about specifics.

It's harder to tell with "multi-effect" devices like this exactly what the diffs are as opposed to a fuzzbox or something. Ok I'll keep reading up.

Thanks.

I am reluctant to do a side-by-side comparison (read as: I'm not going to do a side-by-side comparison). But I will point out what I think makes the Ricochet unique compared to other small form factor pitch pedals:

1. It's a Whammy
2. The independently adjustable Shift/Return coupled with the Momentary/Latching switch is incredibly powerful.
3. It's super easy to use but, at the same time also has some deeper features that won't get old
4. It is true bypass in latching mode. (this may seem like a little thing, but it means that you are a toggle flip away from pristine bypass)
5. It is way quiet (we discovered a few tricks to make the Ricochet play nice with fuzz and with other PSU's)
6. It has chords/classic mode
7. It is a great price
8. It looks awesome
9. It's small
10. It's my baby.

Damn you, Tom. You've found tricks I can't do with the old IPS-33B. So now I have to consider getting one. (Still keeping the IPS, mind you.)

Any chance a revised smaller version of the XP 300 in the works?

Thanks for the tips DTR. It'll be hard to pass up the Ricochet being such a huge Whammy fan. And I like that you can go between Classic and Chords... I prefer the Classic sound anyway.

Should probably go with the Ricochet so my Space Station on the same board will have a tiny relative.

This so much!
I love my Bass whammy and PS-3 but that ricochet seems like a cool alternative if anything ever happens to those two. Oh and Im def going for that saucy synth-wah.

Am I right to assume that the Dirty Robot is based on the e-pedal that was available for the iStomp? Is the Ricochet the same size as the Polara and the other pedals in the range?

It is a mix of the Synth Wah, Bass Synth Wah, and Dirty Robot ePedal, all rolled into one.

Is the Ricochet the same size as the Polara and the other pedals in the range?
No, it is the same size as the Drop/Luxe/Mosaic (i.e. Whammy Family Pedals)

I want a Whammy Ratchet! (sorry, RICOCHET) Love that it has that old-skool warbly option. Seems great all 'round.

I'll finally be able to play this riff (4:20 in) (any Whammy/effects fan should hear/love this record):

Never heard of this band before, it sounds quite dank! Prog-gaze is a thing I guess!
