The internet is a goldmine.
Just gotta dig.

The problem is that a big load of crap is lying on this gold. Struggling through those layers is tiresome. Radio is no help at all.
But back to the minilogue! Does it offer oscillator sync like the Mono/Poly? I couldn't find something like that. The Mono/Poly will stay unique as far as I see it, but the minilogue will satisfy lots of synth tweakers.

It has a sync switch for the oscillators.

Ah! I didn't see that. And ringmodulation. And those waveshape possibilities! What a great tiny beast!

Hmm, only 16 step sequencer... Does play with midi though so could get into that for more sequencing fun

Is the sequencer multi pattern?

Sounds pretty good from the demo video. Wondering if it will get me to retire my MicroKorg that I love oh so dearly.

I think that you will keep both models. The microKorg has the cool DWGS waveforms like the DW-8000 (I have this one) or the MS-2000. Although you can shape the waveforms with the minilogue you won't be able to get the same sounds with it. The DWGS waveforms are short digital sound cycles that cannot be emulated with analog oscillators. So if you don't use the microKorg's sawtooth or square waveforms only, you will miss a lot of its sonic capabilities. Plus it has a vocoder and the minilogue has not. They will be two different beasts. Like two different fuzz pedals, mon ami!

I don't hear them on the radio. That must be the reason why I'm not dancing all the day. Commercial stuff isn't too interesting.

What is this "radio" you hear things on?

There is an insanely overwhelming amount of music in the world right now. If you can't find anything good, you aren't trying to.
Radio is worthless, always has been. I would assume less than 5% of recorded music in existence gets air time. Hell maybe less than 1%.
TLDR: Don't listen to the radio.

Or (shameless plug) listen to SiriusXM. We air so much more of a variety and our programmers are actively searching for new music. We have a different business model than terrestrial radio.

The Volca FM seems like it's going to be a smash as well. I really had no interest in picking up a FM synth cause of the programming, but something this small and cheap with thousands of presets you can dump into it seems awesome. Perfect for supplemental sounds when you need a different texture.

Slow the fuck down korg. I cannot keep up with all the dope stuff you're releasing.
