Thanks, Pope, for pushing this in a totally expected direction. I could see nipple-centric manga coming a mile off, and I'm surprised it took four pages for us to get there.

My guess is that "well, I guess this is what you do...WOW! He is really impressed by this. Maybe I'll get him to do what I want in a bit and actually get off..." is the more common response, though I'd imagine that younger ladies who are apprehensive about their early encounters find it exciting because it's scary. That'd be followed by a brief period of the "get in there, tiger" sentiment," and then followed by a long period of what you said above. But I'm sure it's different for individuals. I'm married to a lady, though, and have been for...seven?...years, so...what the fuck do I know about boobs except that they seem to magically feed my offspring.

Yeah dude, I'm totally fascinated by other people's experience of things just because of my general anxiety and awkwardness. It really runs interference.
Most of my life is just, "FUCK!! THIS IS HAPPENING! WHAT THE FUCK DO I DO NOW!?" and that's just for simple shit like making coffee in the morning.
Really, I'm competent at most things, but some part of me is always second guessing what the fuck I'm doing. Even when I know what the fuck I'm doing and have done it a million times before.
I guess I just want to know how normal people operate.
And girls/ladies, because they're experience of life is totally different again.
Even though it shouldn't be, but we have that whole misogyny thing they've been on the wrong side of forever now.
Hopefully getting better?
I know that there's probably not a lot of discussion around feminism happening in early sexual enounters.

I'm hoping that they're keen to get the boys in there at first. I'd feel really bad if most women responded that there was some sense of obligation and that their own needs were secondary.

For the record, when my wife and I first started dating, she had to drag me kicking and screaming into the hot stuff zone.
I was cool to take things slow.
She was not.
Ok, kicking and screaming is an exaggeration, but let's just say I'm real bad at subtle hints.

And that is me, over-sharing.

We can only hope. I did overhear two bros talking in line at the burrito stand on campus..."so we're like making out, and she stops and says: 'You know I'm someone's sister, right? I'm someone's daughter.' And I'm like, 'fuck it.' So I grab my phone, and we hang out for like two minutes, then I bail." Early sexual encounters are predicated on not talking. Kinda ruins the vibe for most people, so a healthy dose of feminism in a hetero encounter is probably off-putting to a teenager.

Hahaha not my experience with my own bride...we were both mighty guarded. But it's so funny that I look back on other girls I knew before my wife, and I think...holy shit, that chick was trying to tell me to make a move. In no uncertain terms. And I think I knew this at the time, but I panicked, and was pathologically shy. I imagine I hurt a couple people's feelings because of my lack of game.

Not that I was some casanova--it's typical teenaged stuff.

Anyway, nipples, AC/DC, Weird Al, oversharing. Let's go.

Yeah i think my parents' constant drumming into me to respect women sort of stayed my hand in that department, so to speak.
While it's totally obvious that yeah it's a mood killer, between a couple, I just hope some guys are getting that talk from their folks as part of their general life education.
Basically, I'm all for girls getting straight to it if they're keen, just be doing it for you, young ladies.
Sisters do it for themselves....Eurythmics for the accurate summation of my point.

My shyness is painful now. I can only imagine how bad I was back then.

You live, you learn.
Alanis Morisette >Annie Lennox.
Wait, wrong thread.

I may be biased but I have a traumatic period of my childhood that is strongly linked to the Eurythmics.
Alanis never gave me any grief.
Both suck,though.
