The sudden diversion of everyone's gear money is going to cause some crazy shit to happen. Can't wait to see.

I'm just stoked for the inevitable used ones so that I can finally get into modular. The keyboard on this looks really useful as well. I didn't notice it the first time I looked.

What's the cap on "modest"? I grade it about like this -

XS - one row of 84 HP
Small - one row of 104 HP, or two rows of 84 HP
Medium - three rows, plus a tabletop skiff or two
Large - Four to six rows, plus skiffs and various extras
XL - This is where you go double or nothing on your Large, start adding formats, etc
XXL - Multiple XL systems in multiple formats
XXXL - Full walls, retail front, etc

This is a beautiful analog/digtal hybrid system that does not require a eurorack power supply. It also doesn't require a case, because the Roland FX can be used like bookends with just rails and screws only, to form two tabletop skiffs. The feet are built into the modules.


I'm probably going to do a rail-skiff with the Scooper and the Demora as the feet/end pieces, but some other stuff in the middle. Mother 32 is probably better outside of the rack too though, nice and playable in tabletop mode.

Damn, Aen said January, but according to Sweetwater they're shipping pre-orders all ready. I'm conflicted now.

yea i've heard a few cats got theres already. i suck at waiting. i do not do the pre order game anymore.
