Oh yeah. Reverb is my kryptonite, and the Space makes me weak in the knees. I always forget that it never sounded wonderful with lots of gain into it or with a gained up amp, but sounded good with fuzz pedals or the amp set to slightly breakup.

You should get an Ekdahl Moisturizer.

Man, weird! My mom lives in Baltimore too, and I almost moved in with her like 15 years ago but stayed here in Georgia instead like a dummy.

No shit!
This is another box I have MAD GAS for.
I'll have to look him up when I am ready.

Okay, now that I've had a week to play the space,

Holy Christ this thing sounds bananas in stereo.

ILFers, can you share some of your fav settings?

As stoked as I am (starting to get) about the pedal, I haven't quite found a good demo for it on youtube. Some are partly ok, but none really dig into it the way I'd like.
Maybe I'm just picky. But still! :P Any recs?

I'll try to wrap up a vid where I'll flick my saved sounds, noodling around, for you.
Here it is for you:

Please share the RV-5 and the Wet RVB settings

I've always considered the RM-1n be overkill since I have a space, RV-3, cathedral and a bitquest, but can somebody help me justify it? I really think it looks like a cool thing and I want to play it

The gain staging is fucking gorgeous. One before and one after. Get Andrew to add a third gain stomp and you have a madfunctional pedla that can let you remove a gain pedal from your board (for another reverb :!!!: )

Nils, I have the Space, the Descent, the Procession and RM-1N. And there's about 0% overlap.

Tashiattack, I'll hook you up soon ;)

These kind of statements added to the fact tha you do absolutely fantastic demos (watched your space demo twice tonight) really doesn't help my GAS.
Bought lots of stuff recently and just managed to talk myself out of getting a procession, but still want that SPACE, and now I really want both of them. Again.
NOT: HELPING. D'arcy! :P

I bought the BigSky some days ago to get that shoegaze tones...
The Bloom preset should refer to MBV Isn't Anything, and the Nonlinear to Loveless.
Never tried the Space, but I can confirm that the BigSky is pretty good for that.
Otherwise I think it needs some practice to achieve exactly the tones I have in mind...
How would do you adjust the parameters to get that Kevin Shields feeling?

The easiest thing to do on the Big Sky is to turn the tone knob far to the left. The BigSky is ridiculously bright by default. That's what people recognize as the Strymon sound.
