Clips, I say, Clips!

I'll probably save for a Chosmichorus... or a Frazz... or SDD.
Either a Dr. S or a Lo-Fi Loop junky, the first pedal I ever wanted....

I'd much rather give business to Ryan and Tanya than Mr. Vex, though.
I am a sucker for blue monsters though...

if you get a looper then stick a cosmichorus after it, you don't need a LoFi Loop Junky!

I'll try and make some clips when I get a chance... :thumb:

ok Blurillaz, I did a clip for youuuu. PLEASE, excuse my <very> sloppy and wankerly playing....I just pressed record....

ANYWHO, the setup is as follows:

Telecaster -> OCD -> TBD (hoof fuzz and fulltone '69 in loop) -> Destructo Noctavia -> Keeley AD-9 -> Akai Headrush -> Cosmichorus -> Logic pro 8

I didn't use the OCD or '69 and had the Headrush on for a split second.

Clean guitar starts it off

0:26 I kick on the Cosmichorus

0:40 I kick on the AD-9 on top of the chorus ( I know you were curious about it in another thread)

then about 2 minutes of mindless noodling....I think there's some Soma and Knives Out in there somewhere...feel free to fast forward

at 2:53 put in your earplugs 'cause I kick on the Destructo Noctavia, followed by TBD and Hoof. I play some rhythmy stuff and then kick on the cosmichorus at 3:31 and continue to play rhythm stuff.

at 3:47 I turn off the chorus and play lead lines with the DN et al and then at 4:21 kick the chorus back on and play some more lead.

more noodling ensues....hope that's helpful

That feedback early on in that recording was my favorite part. Spaceship noises are the BEST!

I heard a bit of "Go To Sleep" in there...

I think I prefer the fuzz with the chorus to give it almost a flange-like sound. Sounded great man. :thumb: Fueling GAS...
Do you like listening to homemade music? Me too. Why don't you try one of mine?

mbt, sorry I'm so late in replying to this.. your sound clip is awesome! Man, you get some wild sounds in there.. really fun to listen to! I'd like to add a section to the website where users can submit their cool soundclips.. would you be up for that kinda thing?

Bobby D, great to hear from you! I'd like to see some pics of your adventures in Key West, it must be lovely there.. we should all be really jealous of you I bet!

Definetly a Chosmichorus!!!! Great demo.
V2, right? maybe I'll be able to find a Purple and Red one to match my Fuzzhugger Crazy Pedal. ;)

Haven't been online for a while because I was staying in Mariposa, which has VERY slow internet.

hey thanks Ryan and Blurillaz! Yeah, Ryan, by all means, take what you want! I'm flattered! if you want something maybe a little more dedicated or focused I could record some quicker clips if you tell me what sort of sound you want?

and yeah, Blurillaz, it's V2.1 I think...whatever the very latest version is (it has the little tweak that's in Bobby D's). I think (correct me if I'm wrong Ryan) that all new Cosmichoruses will be made that way?

Version 1, serial #35

Really sweet pedal. Covers a lot of modulation ground. :thumb:

Cool Garrett, we'll chat about this soon! I'd love to show off cool clips like that! And yessir, you and Bobby D have the same circuits and that's now my normal way of doing them now.

Thanks again, Mink, much appreciated!

There is a green sparkly v1 on TGP right now for $180, that's a pretty good price (I saw another v1 for 300+ the other day :wha?: )
I know a few people were looking for them.
There are some that call me...morningstaru?

Ok, today is 1 week of owning my Cosmichorus v1. It is kicking all kinds of modulation ass.

All flavors of chorus, flanging, uni-vibeish tones. Hell, I even got a "laser gun" sound for my trippy, low quality, love-sick fool in space project that I'm working on.

I have 60+ pedals. Only a couple make me feel warm and fuzzy inside. The Cosmichorus is totally rocking my world right now.

A big :thumb: to the Dr.
