I can easily go a month listening to nothing but the complete Jack Johnson sessions on rotation. There is enough genius on that record to do a lifetime. And it's only a sliver of what he produced. Scary. Anyone know what fuzzbox John McLaughlin was using -- FZ-1?elbandito wrote:ShaolinDolemite also wrote:Miles Davis (the early 70's electric Miles)

You rule!
I also highly, Highly, HIGHLY recommend the On the Corner box set, the album that all the supposed "jazz" critics hated on.

HP Lovecraft. I started reading his stuff about 5 years ago, and then not long after I started my noise project in 2008 I quickly realized that everything I created within that domain sounded like what I was reading!
Well, and then Sunn O))) and Miles Davis. They just sort of permeate through whatever I'm doing really.

right now it would have to be Devi Ever and Dwarfcraft devices pedal demo videos , Bob Log III , PoopDeFlex, Negativland, Ohgr ... just to name a few. subject to change at any time.
If a pedal on my board feels ashamed, it needs to find a new home.

I'm currently enthralled with Baroness, so have been coming up with some Baroness-inspired tunes. Also, Leonard Bernstein's "America." In the same tune.
