It's not a boner it's a symbol of the puerile instincts that drive men to play the guitar at waist level with gratuitous hip motion.

We hoist the emperor up for all to see then we tear off his robes, exposing his ridiculous form to all in attendance.

It needs tentacles and and eyes to look like the squid from Mario Bros. but close.

(I think those look awesome BTW)

I'm happy to see a rosewood neck on a standard model under $2,000--happens rarely if at all outside of the odd import rosewood Tele reissue. I think I dig more on the Albert Lee shape I've seen her play. I dunno, if I saw it in a store I would try it, but have my doubts if I would feel at home with it.

Yeah that's exactly what I was going for earlier... the AL is such a weirdo guitar, but honestly I don't think I would've ever given it a second look if it wasn't for SV playing it.

The model with the three P90s in it gives me a chub.

I want to get a blue one for the misses. She doesn't play guitar but that's beside the point.

I gotta say that I am digging this guitar. The rosewood headstock/neck is absolutely incredible

I mean, that is an attractive headstock

Headstock shape is all Bezier curves, while body shape is all hard angles. IMO they don't match. Or, maybe they could match better, lets put it that way.

Yeah I agree that it doesn't match ideally, but I don't think it's that odd. And after all, it's Ernie Ball's main/signature visual element, and there's absolutely nothing about the guitar that represents the norm of the brand otherwise, so... they had to hold onto something.
