LOL
Final comment on The Smiths: stop thinking of them as Morrissey's band. Think of them as Johnny Marr's band. Think of Morrissey as being Liam Gallagher to Johnny Marr's Noel Gallagher. Not quite an accurate analogy, but if you try and wrap your head around it that way, they become something quite different, from a musical perspective, anyways. I think a lot of people get stuck on Morrissey's cult of personality.
Pantera are pretty good. I went through a huge Pantera phase for about a month in 2006. I worked in a British-style pub and every day when I walked to work I got in the first three songs on A Vulgar Display of Power. "Walk" is as good of a walking song as the title suggests. Anyway when I listen to Pantera I imagine Dragon Ball Z in my head, charging up, Spirit Bomb, all that sheeeit.

Muds, that was exactly the clip.
Thank you.
Case.....Pantera is not a phase.
Great Southern Trendkill turns 20 next year.
I don't think it's too soon to post that album in all its relevance and glory in this situation.
Thank you.

Also worth noting: Beneath the Remains and Arise are better than CfH but they came out in 89 and 91 respectively.

Sacrilege > The bass tone on Sacrilege's first LP > the awful cover art on Sacrilege's first LP > the smell of a Sacrilege show > Pantera.
