Nobody is mad at WMD for their name, or the Geiger Counter's implications of nuclear fallout.
What is bad about William Matthewson Devices? It is so long and syllably that it kind of needs an abbreviation.
okay sure it shares the same abbreviation a Other WMDs
Wendy Michelle Davidson
Weekly Meat Division
Wednesday Must Die (formerly Odin Must Die, a Ragnarok'n'Roll band that received backlash)
Weather and Meteorology Department
Wilson Maynard Dodd
and more that I won't list.
But still. Why can't Those be brought up in the WMD naming discussion?

However nothing will change my opinion that building yet another muff clone in 2015 is outrageous!

You don't need to keep anything to yourself. But you are not entitled to presume to know my motivations and claim I only changed the name to avoid drama.
I've built plenty of original designs, some of which ought to be modern classics if only I was able to market them effectively. But when everybody wants a new muff pedal and I need to pay my mortgage, I'm gonna build some muff pedals.

When you need a muff, you've got to muff.
If you have a muff, you'll use a muff.
If you muff once, you muff- muff, muff more.
If not for muff, muffin would get done.
Muff can be said about a good muff.
A muff is a muff.
I personally don't think there's enough Muffs on the market until everyone has at least one. The closest thing I have is a Metal Muff, which ain't muff like a classic muff.

I'll get this thread back on track and just say any Skreddy Fuzz is a Fuzz Fail... overpriced and uninspiring, two great tastes that make me wanna puke...

You hear about that new infinite reverb fuzz that kills your whole family?
I think it's called the drone strike

It could be a Doom Drone, with a pic of James Earl Jones on it.
But wait, it'd have to steal your father's sword, too.

Drone Strike is actually a pretty badass name for a pedal.

Bleak, hard, no shit. Straight Doom.
Thulsa Doom > Dr. Doom
Thulsa Doom > Darth Vader.
He needs ILL fuzz pedals.

Do not necessarily want any new Muffs. Do want most every old Muff I see
Little Miss Sunshine color = Sexy.
The bluish green Echo color = Swell.
This latest Muff color = WOAT if it ultimately looks like [that]
Shoulda picked one of the grassier-green paint varieties from the early tall fonts.

Skreddy Marc does know how to fuzz, and while aesthetic choices are hit & miss; dubious usage by stuffy customers is no fault of his.
At the time of joining ILF I had recently traded for a "flat mids" Mayo, in looking for
my keeper Muff shortly after transitioning amp platforms from clean 100w American (Fender) to dirty 50w British (Selmer).
It had better voicing w/the Fender MV amp, but ultimately found its way to a new home in the great dirt-purge of 2013.
There was A LOT of gain on tap, I had to attenuate with another pedal prior to touching the Selmer's non-master preamp. Once jumpering amp channels, I had to add an EQ after the attenuating dirt pedal, to further attenuate the bass and lower mids. So it became clear Muffs with scooped tonestack and different gain structure would be more practical.
That's my only firsthand experience w/Skreddy pedals...it was positive. Just couldn't put cart before horse.
