althoughhhhhhh looking at the demo i'd rather have a clean volume and upper octave set of knobbies, but REALLY want to try one out when they drop.

I read August 17th on some NAMM blog I came across.. couldn't find that date anywhere else so not sure if it's accurate

It'll be worth it. I'm still tweaking settings trying to figure out what all it can do.

Okay, I'm probably alone on this, but I have trouble hearing the upper octave in the tentacle demo. Or hell, pretty much any analog upper octave I can't hear. It definitely sounds different than clean, but I can't hear an octave above. Which makes me sad, because I love the idea of an upper octave.

Side note, I really want an interstellar, but I probably won't be able to afford it until some go up used somewhere on here or reverb.

I've had a Tentacle for a few weeks now and there's definitely no trouble hearing the upper octave...sounds great in front of my Pharaoh.

I'm thinking of getting the Tentacle. Has anyone checked how it compares to the Fuzzhugger Upper?

Same base circuit. Upper has more knobs. If you are interested in textures controlling the bias on a green ringer circuit is a lot of fun.

Bought a Dunes. I play bass. It's awesome on the modern bandwidth setting, my favorite clipping is the Mosfet but the opamp is huge sounding. This little pedal packs a lot of volume!

Ordered a Tentacle the other day. I'm excited to be getting my first Earthquaker Devices pedal.
