I'd appreciate if you'd start referring to 'em as "boner goggles".

Does two Industrialelectric pedals etched by Acid Splash Designs and a Dirge delay pedal put me in the Bone Zone?

So, fellow sniffers, I hate to let you all down, but I'm realizing I'm a simple man with simple needs. My board is about to be a little more blue collar.
I'm keeping the El Cap but I'm realizing that I'm not talented enough for all these cray cray pedals. I need simpler. Cheaper. One function per pedal. I've failed you. And myself.

Talent or lack there of doesn't mean you should give up the cocksniffing lifestyle. My dad is an average to crap golfer but he still owns a nice expensive set of clubs. Why? Because he enjoys playing golf.

I'm literally the worst guitarist in the world and I have no shame in my pedalboard being super sexy. My sloppy power chords sound amazing through all this quality stuff.

Really, I just want more pedals that do one thing than one pedal with 20 features I'll never use.

Yeah, I'm there with you. I think the only multi-function pedal I have on my board is the PS-2 and I could honestly put three on my board for all the uses I have for it: short slapback, long delays, pitch shifted chorus, Rainbow Machine style sounds, metallic psuedo ring modulation...

I agree that having a pedals that are really good at one thing and simple are the way to go for most things, but I really think having a pedal or two that has a bunch of features on your board is really beneficial to help you smell boners from miles away.
I really felt that way about my Timeline and BigSky for a while and was thinking about downgrading but it turns out I really can use a lot of the sounds I never thought I would, just gotta put the time in and find them and tweak them to my liking. That time ends up being really fun for me.
Stutter delays, pseudo rainbow machine sounds, pseudo trems (i love feeding a 100% wet reverb signal into the square wave trem delay), weirdo random filters, bit crushing, vibrato, looping. I really like all of those sounds, but I don't use them enough to justify having a pedal dedicated to solely those effects. Meanwhile, I use fuzz, reverb and delay like all the time so I'll stack up on those.

Me too.

my blue strat is number one! the neck. and the fretboard are just perfect.
the back of the neck has some cool knot looking effect .. like the rings of trees.
the fretboard has these warm red/brown highlights in it.
the trem is the best.

fart!
and - i'm so guilty of tgp trifecta!
El Cap and Wet are most usually on my board.
and. that ol EP boost at the end
