kind of. i have friends that have kids that i really love and enjoy hanging out with. but mostly i remember from my childhood that kids were fucking terrible mean spirited wretched little fucks. just awful, and most of them seem to stay that way into adulthood. but i guess most of them were a bit older than the little dudes we're talking about here.

Terrible mean spirited wretched fucks tend to be that way regardless of age.

Yeah... well dude there are so many out there. If you are going for one with DSP then I don't have a recommendation, but if you don't then all I can say is DCM 2000.
Also, wear condoms AND pull out. Guaranteed no kids.

Crown,
Crest [I think Buzz used these a lot],
Alessis, Carvin, QSC,
Stewart Audio, Peavy.
I've used the ones underlined.. Stewart to me are good for PAs but they not has guts for running a bass rig in the slug you in the gut with bass thing.

I have read up on these like a motherfucker and I think its the pre amp im going to try to source.
tube driven
simple eq
cross over
separate out for bitchy sound dildos
and they sound in-fucking-credible.
how well does it drive pro amps?

pretty good. when I got it I tested it through a crown and used it once or twice through a borrowed crown power amp… and i lent it out once and the only complaint was by everyone but the bassist… something about it overpowering the band and the room or some such nonsense..

These are clearly English words strung together, but for some reason when I try to read it...it just doesn't make any sense.

I can never keep up with the internet.
the tube pre + SS power is my favorite combo. You get deep clean bass, and then you can dirty it up with fuzz and overdrive.
I use a Ampeg SVT-IIP which is the same preamp from the SVT-II (non-pro) which is pretty damn close to the vintage SVT, but with a few added things like a graphic eq and such.
Run that into a carvin DCM3800 (1150 watts per side) with a couple of 4ohm cabs, it does the trick.
Tube amps are sweet, but I've never played one that gave me the headroom and volume I like.
