thanks! checked out his brother, THE BLOOMING WALL OF FUZZ that i just linked in the post above. that one has more conventional fuzz sounds in it but has an evil side as well...

a wolf computer is handy to have around just to run other things into it. when pushed the parts of the circuit that produce nothing but splatter may yield excellent results!

You seem to be right, good sir, and I want to learn from your infinite wisdom of the allmighty oscillation.

I also ran my Suneater Oscillator into the WC, getting some incredibly textured octave down screams. Threw me off the idea of getting a pitch shifter, prefer it this way.

Listening to your demo of the Blooming Wall of Fuzz right now, sounds incredible. Nice playing :thumb:

thank you kind sir! I will teach you all I can... ;)

Tom is the best to work with, even though I think he cut me off.

if you are thinking of some crazy custom fuzzhugger build and have questions about what works well with what and in what order feel free to shoot me a massage. I really like the way tom's oscillating fuzzes work with each other and have tried most of the possible combinations however I do not have some of his newer circuits. sun eater, velcrobot, squelch master...

Dude, you've gotta get on the Velcrobot. It is awesome. I've got two. And the Suneater with low gain toggle is awesome. If you don't have an Arc Flash you can add that to the list. Velcrobot and arc flash are likely my two favourite fuzzes, possibly ever. But possibly not. Ab synth kills for dem oscillations though!

Really want a squelch master. Tom's demo was rad.

Edit: dunno why I presumed you don't have an arc flash. Knowing your love of the fuzz hug that was possibly a bit stupid.

Seconded on the Arc Flash and Velcrobot. I have and love both. Also have a huger. Discontinued now but if you can get your hands on one you will not be disappointed. And today an 2012 ILF Lab Ratchet came in the mail. Haven't spent too much time with it yet, but from what time I have spent it is awesome. You can't go wrong with Fuzzhugger :thumb:

we have turned this into FUZZHUGGER OR DIE!!!! thread! :flame:

yes, the arc flash oscillator is awesome. there is another crazy custom that was originally built groundswell into arc flash oscillator that i snagged off blurillaz. tom was awesome enough to mod it for groundswell oscillation for me! that thing will blast rust off!!!! :animal:

I don't mind this becoming a Fuzzhugger thread, he does make some of the best oscillating beasts around. I'm constantly bugging Tom with my mails, so we'll see what's up next. The idea of a big box of oscillations seems pleasing...

Oh, the Gnomeratron seems cool, have had my eye on it.

Agreed. The oscillation switch+knob on my Algal brings sexiness to my sound. Maybe it's time for me to use my cupon.

Another good oscillating beast of a fuzz is the Noisemaker Zero. Very underrated around here. It is very inexpensive for what it does. Does a lot more than just oscillate. And the dude that makes them is in the shark tank. It was my first crazy fuzz and it will always have a place on my pedalboard.

How about the Parallel Universe II?

It's been a staple on my board for several years now.

I wish the noisemaker dude would post round here more. He has a lot of nice stuff at very, very good prices.

Well at least no one can say he just comes in here to spam his company. He does have some awesome pedals though. Apart from the Zero I also have his Soda Pop fuzz. That fuzz is a very nice pedal that seems to fit in any mix nicely. Not gated but very quiet when not playing. Has a very vintage like tone. Cleans up nicely too when the guitars volume is rolled back. :thumb:
