yeah even the geocities background on the second one is kinda cool. I just like the way the whole thing is just a little bit crap, you know? I mean the roper insert of the original dopesmoker with the winged snakes in space, yikes! (totally gonna get one of those snakes tattooed on me at some point).

DO IT.
I kind of wish roper did a whole series of Fremen and shit from Dune (which is clearly his inspiration for the reissue Weedians).
That would be tattoo awesomeness.
He did a Fremen at some point but I think it was like silhouette or something....on my phone, links annoying. Google it.

Are we just talking about sci-fi Bedouin now?
Because, I am cool with that.

Those are all David D'Andrea, for the record.
He's also done all the new Marijuanaut art for them, as well as the Iommic Sphinx.

Yep, but a little bit more digging proves us both correct

Arik Roper and David D'Andrea created a collaborative poster to commemorate the happenings , their second thus far.

Yeah those are rad. They kind of make me want to see an animated series of movies about the weedians.
D'Andrea is great. Love the stuff he did for Om as well.

I love when Roper does stuff for sleep because it's obvious he gets to bust out all the Moebus sci fi influences he doesn't normally get to use. Dude seems real as hell and not afraid to go full D&D nerd too, it rules.
D'Andrea is also killer, I love the religious stuff in his art. I also once ordered a Sleep print and a couple shirts from him and I got a note back about how he was stoked that someone in australia was into his stuff with like a SHITLOAD of huge prints of stuff he'd done for Om, Grails, etc. I still haven't had the time and money to frame it all.
