I've got a Shaker. I like it, but it's got some quirks to it.
Like for instance, in the Latch mode, adjusting the tone control effects the straight signal as well.
I'd say it's a fine pedal for the money though. It's pretty flexible, especially with the TonePrint stuff.

Oh, the Shaker does a fairly passable Leslie sound as well.

For Leslie, it is not authentic in the slightest but I'm still partial to the venerable Quadraverb's take on it.
There's something very Floyd at Pompeii about it that makes me a happy person.
It sounds absolutely nothing like the actual Leslies I've used...but screw it, it's a toy and I love it.

Thanks, Chank... helpful info! Too bad about the Latch, i'm quite curious about it, but maybe it won't be a problem
and the leslie comment makes me quite happy!

Yeah, the Shaker doesn't really sound anything like a real Leslie. I like it when used like that though.
It's a lot less finicky about placement than the Neo Ventilator.
Get me close and sometimes I'm happy.

DarkAxel, let me know if you wanna borrow mine. I don't use it that often and I've been thinking about selling it. If you like it, you can buy it. If not, you can send it back. Not sure it's worth the shipping from US to Czech and back, but the offer's there.

aw that's a sweet offer, man! The shipping here is 15 bucks (the cheapest), but I'm not sure I'd be able to buy it anytime soon (not soon enough anyway), so I think I'll pass for now... However - if you really feel like you need to unload, let me know and I'll se where I stand financially... Or i'll let you know to send it over here

If you change your mind, let me know. I can also cover shipping to you if you catch me when I have some cash. I'm not worried about immediate payment, I know you're good for it.

But, uh, I tried Chet's lo fi junky and I would recommend that. Very just generally pleasing to the ears, not too obvious or blatant.

Yeah, I've been interested in that pedal since Zounds Perspex was talking about it.

Of course I'll go against the grain....
Greenhouse FX Stonefish is my suggestion.
You can get a "frozen" chorus that sounds like you're stuck in a big hollow tube that is great for thickening things up.

Thanks Exie, I forgot my gas for that one. Back on the list!

It's a really fantastic pedal - especially when paired up with the Retro Sky.
