So I guess I need a Megalith... There is a new Sobbat V3 DB out that is Purple but I can't really tell that it's HEAVY... I hope the new MXR La Machine is good cause I could care less about the octave switch and like the smaller size...

Also the OG green and orange SuperFuzz was the shit when I had one in '94-'97, never used the tone switch though...

i just received a creepy fingers mostratono, si/germ based on the vox tone bender. He added a tone control that can add a seriously nice and balanced low end that my 68 vox v828 is missing. I've only had it a day and it sounds like a pretty damn fine pedal indeed. This is the same/similar circuit used in the mk1.5, and fuzz face.

The Cornballer I recently got by Prune Works LTD (1.5 based, OC72+OC76 trannies) has a "Fat/Thin" switch. It really is a dream.

How purple does the purpleness have to actually be? my DB1 is a really old one and it's a magenta color which then you have to decide if magenta is more purple or pink in your point of view. On the other hand my bass drive breaker isn't as heavy [the eq isn't additive like the DB1] as the DB1 but also it's blue and not magenta which might have something to do with it but.. it is as heavy as a DC Hair of the dog or ECT but then also niter are fuzzes, they are high gain ODs

I know but you have to see that I have not tried that one and it is not the one everyone uses even though I still want one.. you want this one

If you want super heavy because of the tone circuit that it has, the one you has there has a more normal high rolloff type of deal and not a active bass and treble like the DB1 On the other hand if you want a more "natural" or "raw" sound VS big and boomy then….

But it's Purple...

The DB-1 is the one I'll look for, but the other one is Purple...
