a demanding situation for a fuzz pedal to cut through, BUT with a loud volume boost enough to bring the back line to unity level with house PA... Everybody seems to be shouting about the TA!FM, but I really didn't dig the sound much on the videos I found. And the footprint unfortunately is a bit big...
Maybe try running it on lower gain?
Especially the Mini, which can get more fuzzy even with relatively low gain due to the Bias knob I'm looking for a second fuzz in the more smooth and creamy range. A Muff really. But with mids I guess...Earthquaker Devices Hoof fuzz, Blackout Effectors Musket, or my personal favorite that isn't going anywhere, the Fuzzhugger(fx) Bass Bloom.Lebowsky wrote:I love the Rat Tail don't get me wrong.
