Cool, you'll have one incoming shortly.
new05002 wrote:Chris can make different etches, its not too bad I believe (he can chime in) so you can work with the drill template to form your own image ect ect.
People can use that standard design, what I changed in that scheme from the original LBMP is to increase the output cap to 1uF from 100nF, and I modded the EQ to be flat with no mid cut using symmetric low pass and high pass filters.
If I do do the pre-order I can take a tally of what everyone wants, so that way if Parker wants to get a different enclosure I could send him just the PCB and and other parts so he could work with Chris on a different enclosure or just buy a bare enclosure.
That sounds like the exact mods I would want, some more low end on the output cap and mids for cut.

What we could do for a preorder if everyone was into this idea esp Chris as he would be involved heavily. Is to make a standard kit based on 1 scheme, develop a BOM then order everything to Chris. He could etch and assemble the kits to be sent out in a packaged form. It would require him to do some work so its kind of up to him but that minimizes shipping parts to and from people ect.

Etching: It really isn't hard to do for multiple designs. They all print out the same. If we have a standard image (like what nick posted), that is obcviously the simplest way to go. I also understand that every one wants their own thing. Having a one knob-job (hehe) is the easiest to design for once we get going. I can easily put a logo on the bottom of the pedal. I've done it for Ry/fuzzrocious and Mark/BAT. it's still all done in the same dip bath.
If'n everyone wants their own image:
1)find what you want
2)Try and find it as huge as possible-it makes a difference
3) Bear in mind that the pedal is rectangular Try not to find something that requires a square.
4) try to find something without much background (unless you want the background in the picture... but again, #3)- I CAN cut things out of the background (see the kitteh boost) but it's a giant pain in the dick and my cat is way cooler than anything you would want me to stare at while i remove the background.
I could do all of the separation and shipping like nick said, I just hope it doesn't get too crazy and i am looking down the barrel of like 70 pre-orders. I am not that organized.
Let me know what you guys are thinking

we can limit the orders based on your ability to process enclosures or just do parts for those who dont need etched neclosures ec.

I woke up this morning thinking about it (stay classy, doom room), and I was kind of leaning towards thinking that a word-less pedal would be pretty awesome with the LSD molecule.
Also, by the way, I'd just like to bandwagon for a second and point out how fucking rad it is that we can go from arguing over which pedal it is to creating a small run of worship boxes, in the proper context of worship, in like 48 hours.
Fucking. Awesome.

I actually may have a plan for separating and shipping. Depends how it all works out with how many pedals we have, but yeah. I got ideas. If we do preorders I can get started on them. The slowest part will be the prepping for etching. Ironing on the image and whatnot. It's not a big deal, I'll just be pumped to see so many pedals in one place.
