Yea, that's killer
the Baldwin-era (i.e. 1970s) solidbody Gretsches are much unloved by Gretsch enthusiasts who tend to see them as even more aberrant than they actually are and don't like the fact that they had humbuckers rather than more typical Gretsch PUs, but as a weirdo among enthusiasts i find them interesting. what i'd really like is to get a Gretsch Committee from that same time period. dig the transparent grey pickguard!

These used to be really awesome pawn shop guitars too. Last time i saw a committee it was like $1700. I was flabbergasted.

This was $900 at a guitar store in Melbourne:
Gretsch TK300
But now someone's bought it. I like the design, but I hate the clear finish. That red one was siiiick, though.

I really dig that body and pickguard shape.
